The State Tax Inspectorate of Ukraine by order of Head Oleksandr Klimenko during February-March 2012 executed a prolonged, arbitrary, unscheduled inspection of Institute of Society Transformation (IST), which is a well-known NGO in Ukraine and abroad. Let us inform that arbitrary, unscheduled inspection of Institute of Society Transformation is currently over. Violations of applicable legislation, including tax legislation, in the activities of IST were not detected. Institute of Society Transformation continues its work on the way of strengthening of democratic basics of our country development, progressive reforms implementing, accelerating of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

Ukrainian National Conservative Party (UNCP) supports the appeal of President of Association of Ukrainian Banks Mr. Oleksandr Suhoniako to the President of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, People’s deputies of Ukraine and members of the Supervisory Council of the National Bank of Ukraine with reference of threats to stability and negative trends in the financial, economic, monetary, credit and banking sectors. We consider this appeal is a very well-timed and essential. Top management of the National Bank of Ukraine must be immediately removed from their positions due to incompetence and neglect of national interests of our country.

Dear Ms Korolevska, as we have already written to you, a leading non-governmental research center of Ukraine, Institute of Society Transformation (IST) is under undue constraint from the tax authorities. After another series of unscheduled tax audits we have got the Act on results of inspection. According to it Institute of Society Transformation is obliged to pay a fine amounting. As you have repeatedly claimed to protect the rights and defend members of the third sector and businesses ("To protect everyone!"), we offer you, as previously agreed, to implement new strategic project together in order to protect businesses and NGOS in Ukraine.

Summit Meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government - Chicago, United States - 20-21 May 2012 will be a very important event for the global and European security. It stands to reason the Summit becomes imperative for Ukraine which is an integral part of Euro-Atlantic international security, defense and stability area. In fact, this is the last chance for Yanukovych and his team prevent their final isolation, which was eloquently confirmed by the collapse of Yanukovych's visit to Seoul Nuclear Security Summit. We demand from Viktor Yanukovych: Announced officially at the Summit that the strategic foreign policy goal for Ukraine is gaining full membership in North Atlantic Treaty Organization...Ukrainian NGOs are invited to join the Declaration!!! 

Ukraine is in the process of creeping coup now. Clans of Yanukovych family have seized power in this country. Political and even physical terror is unfolding in Ukraine. In this regard the role and activity of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine become very important. In our opinion they are no longer effective unfortunately. Whereas previously we had no problems to contact the former RSG in Ukraine Mr. Ake Peterson, the current Head of Office Mr. Vladimir Ristovski runs very much behind the scenes, almost secretly. Several events took place recently led us to the conclusion that all of that were not by accident.

More and more NGOs support the Institute of Society Transformation in the fight against criminal dictatorial regime. Kharkiv regional military-historical club "Shturm" was the next who supported Institute of Society Transformation. We offer you now an open appeal on the need to protect public organizations in Ukraine, signed by Yurii Sharuda, head of Kharkiv regional military-historical club "Shturm".

Dear Ms Korolevska, as you have repeatedly declared the protection of rights of members of the third sector and businesses ("To protect everyone!"), we are addressing to you with a proposal to perform real actions and start to do it openly and systematically. We cannot wait for anymore because delay is like death. Yanukovych and his regime form military units, such as “black squadrons” based in Mezhyhirya. There is no doubt that the events unfold according to Belarusian scenario in Ukraine. It seems that there are the same authors and directors.

Dear Ms Getmanchuk, we read an article at your Ukrainian Pravda web log: "The journal of Euro-Atlantist” on March 21, 2012. The title was “Such a dangerous word is "sanctions". For the time being the ruling gangster regime led by Viktor Yanukovych pursued hundreds of NGOs and other third sector organizations. That is why we disagree absolutely with your position. We are not going to lay strictures on you because you have probably not studied the situation completely and your NGO was not run into by the "watchdogs of regime."

One more letter from the State Tax Administration (STA) was received by Institute of Society Transformation (IST) on March 12, 2012. The letter was signed by Dzyubenko Larysa, Deputy chairman of Commission for the reorganization of STI in Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv city, Deputy Chief of STI in Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv city. This is an illegal letter because of hiding behind a disease of a tax auditor-inspector the tax body decided to extend the terms of illegal action against IST. Statutory 10 working days to conduct tax audits passed away and even additional 5 working days are over. Consequently the persecution of IST continues.

I have to appeal to you due to the following circumstances. During our dialogue at a roundtable on Monday, March 12, 2012, you reported that the official website of Association of Ukrainian Cities (AUC) has an information concerning the facts of persecution against legally elected mayors executed by the ruling party and government. Participants of the mentioned roundtable, which was organized by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government to discuss the draft Law of Ukraine "On Associations of local communities", were informed that a list of cities (nearly 60, where such events have been taken place) were available at the AUC web-site as well.
